Lawsons Landing and Miller Boat Launch at Miller Park are easy places to launch a boat. There is enough room at the property to park most boats on a trailer.
You can also RENT BOATS at Lawsons Landing, which also has a Fishing Pier.
Doran Regional Park in Bodega Bay also has a boat launch and is a great place to head out fishing.

Dillon Beach General Store and Surf Shop is a great place to grab Tea, Coffee, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, and supplies for the house. It is the closest and most convenient store from the house. They also have souvenirs and some surf/beach stuff. You can drive because they do have parking, but it is a nice walk.

Lawson’s Landing is a fishing and boating resort and campground situated at the mouth of Tomales Bay, California. Generations of families have visited the area to rest along the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Lawson's Landing is located about 50 miles north of San Francisco and 20 miles west of Petaluma at Dillon Beach. The Landing was first established in 1929 and the family-owned and operated campground has been running since 1957. From camping to clamming to boating, there are so many activities to enjoy. You can also rent and launch boats from here and there's is pay parking lot with beach access. Also a for outdoor activities, fishing and clamming.
The Town of Tomales is about a 10 min drive, and there are some great restaurants, bars, and festivals there. Plus some great historical western architecture.
Willaim Tell House is a place we love and highly recommend for a meal or a beer. Established in 1887, and it is Marin counties oldest Saloon. Oysters, beer, wine, bites, burgers, and a full menu of other wonderful things.
Tomales Bakery best pizza in the area. Also, great baked good and bread
K&A Take Away is a local sandwich shop great for a quick lunch and take away.
Tomales Deli+Cafe has sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast, and some Mexican food.
Route One Bakery (20 1st St, Tomales, CA 94971) is great for baked goods, breakfast, and lunch.
Dinucci's is a family-style Italian restaurant that is one the way to Bodega Bay. It is about a 15 min drive from the house. They have to take-out too.
